INTRODUCTION

Our client is an international company operating with success in Poland since more than 15 years. Currently due to further development and investment plans of our Client we are looking for: Finance Controller / Senior Finance Analyst

ResponsibilitiesAccountabilities:
• Preparation of the regular monthly, quarterly and annual management accounting reports and procedures independently, and ensure that they are accurate, understood and reported according to IAS to the CEO. Preparation of analysis, reports, comments and presentation ad hoc, financial estimations, issuing consolidated financial reports and management accounting analysis.
• Participation in establishing budgets and ensure that they are prepared, analysed, commented and presented in accordance with mother company requirements and to inform the CEO accordingly.
• Contribution to increasing and maintaining the awareness of financial considerations (cost awareness, profitability, cash flow projections, treasury, corporate and TVA tax planning) among employees in order to ensure that all procedures and practices related to accounting, internal controls, tax and reporting are implemented, maintained and respected, and meets both Polish law requirements and Company’s standards.
• Cooperation with banks - preparing documents, memorandums, making presentations for the credit/ investment committees.
• Investment relations - together with the Board, develop the messages for external communications, ensuring these are consistent with the corporate and IR strategy. Preparing financial results announcements and presentations for investors, investment funds, shareholders, organise and take parts to road shows, fund rising, maintaining contacts with investors.
• Cooperation with external / internal auditors, investment banking boutiques and advisors, collecting data and contributing to preparation of due diligence reports.
• Supporting Finance and Administration Director and the Board on daily financial matters, such as cost optimization, improving ROI/ ROE, cash flow, implementation of improvements concerning reporting, eliminating reporting gaps, implementation IT financial tools, better use of resources, implementation of financial procedures.
• Cooperation with law firms, public relations agency etc.
RequirementsJob requirements

Ideal candidate will have at least:

• 4-5 years of experience in the corporate finance world, with substantial knowledge of the financial analysis. This could have been gained as a finance analyst (either in endowment, private bank, corporate bank, Big 4 – corporate finance division), or as finance controller (in an international company operating in Poland).
• MSC degree in finance/economics (postgraduate degree MBA or other advanced degree in mathematics, economics, finance, business, accounting, etc. will be a plus), CFA designation will be a plus.
• Investment Relations experience with a focus on investment banking, venture capital, private equity will be a plus.
• Strong analytical, numerical skills.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with new venture shareholders, managers, financial consultants, investment banking boutiques, and attorneys.
• Proven presentation and organizational skills.
• Exceptional quantitative, analytical and computer PC skills and the ability to apply these with respect to preparing complex analysis (including advanced knowledge of Excel and other MS Office applications).
• The ability to work effectively both independently and closely with a small team in a highly professional manner.
• Enthusiasm, creativity and intellectual interest in supporting the whole organisation and a desire to achieve superior performance.
• The ability to be constructively challenging, diplomatic, and respectfully debate.
• Demonstrated high level English language skills, both orally and in writing.
